Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. Lennox survived off the stipend of a student, and worked part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox made the decision to alter her path in life following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience in comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. The group didn't appear on the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. As part of this group, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they created their own group, the Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox was later able to record her solo debut album Diva. It came out in 1992. The album had a tremendous success both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October of 2014. This C.D. Lennox chose her favorite blues soul tracks from her the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera, a collection four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. This E.P. First album of hers, Now I'm Letting You go... was released as the perfect accompaniment to her work of artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
